An interesting way of looking at Twitter. We agree that the small moments are where the action is. It is in these moments that relationships are formed. Thanks for getting us thinking on this!

Ah, the wheels of bureaucracy! How slowly they move. It always amazes me that the more "prestigious" the university, the more cutting edge and "relevant" they want to seem, and the more pokey they actually are. Like last week, when it took a whole day for the university online (in-house!) newsletter to report on the PCPC break-in. Somehow the external media covered it first!

Hey, those "dry looking old cookery stickeries" (of mine!) are made of hardwood. And they just need the love of a little oil, that's why they're hard to clean. Like people, kitchen tools need to be loved to live fully.

Wait, did I just liken being loved to being rubbed down with olive oil?

- She who loves you.

PS What's a cotch?

DIET!!! Geez, getting the jump on the New years resolutions or what! ;-)

On second thought, that's not "butter", but "'buttery' topping" (food science at its scariest) so avoiding the concession stand might be prudent.

I'll probably drop the BGP space hosted on wordpress. I hadn't fiddled with Wordpress in a few years and it was a good place to test it out. I'd also needed some place to host some projects of my own. While I'm a university web manager I can do virtually nothing there. Funny isn't it, you would think a university would be a great place to incubate innovative projects but as it turns out I can not personally do anything there. So I've grabbed some space at canadianwebhosting in Vancouver. You can throw wordpress up in your own space for as little as 5 bucks a month, or multiple domains for 10 bucks a month, looks decent. http://www.canadianwebhosting.com/standard_hosting.asp

Yes, a personal server running your own wordpress is nice, been meaning to do it many times. So will this blog replace the BGP, and/or Yahoo: NSEpxlore
